Devialet ranked among the Next40
On September 18, 2019, the French government announced the Next40 list of the 40 most promising French startups, chosen based on financial performance. Devialet was incredibly proud to learn that it was named among the future leaders of the French economy. Aside from national recognition for the dedicated work of each of its 400 employees, the honor will help the company immensely as it expands internationally.
Since the beginning, Devialet’s ambition has been to introduce high-fidelity sound to as many people as possible through revolutionary technologies. This has led to the creation of the Expert Pro and Phantom ranges, followed by licensing partnerships for some Devialet technologies with other companies, such as Free with the Freebox Delta and Altice in the United States with its Altice Amplify connected speaker. Devialet believes in keeping things local: its R&D facility is in Paris and its two factories are located in France. Thanks to the Next40, Devialet plans to accelerate its development and extend the scope of its inimitable technological know-how.
Belonging to the Next40 club will help the company in meeting its growing needs for funding, hiring, and international expansion, particularly in Asia and the United States. Help from the French government, combined with the company’s great ambition, will propel it to the next stage of growth: becoming a world-class French technology company, able to match the world’s largest.
The first effects are already clearly visible. Devialet, represented by CEO Franck Lebouchard, was chosen to represent French Tech in President Emmanuel Macron’s official delegation during his state visit to China in November 2019.
Devialet is proud to bring its ultra-pure sound to an ever-growing number of people. As it was intended, from the beginning.
