The Devialet D-Premier delivers something unique to music lovers: truly natural-sounding music reproduction, which we call Live & Lossless sound. It remains as faithful as possible to the sonic creation that the musicians and sound engineers have forged in the studio and committed to the recording. It is our philosophy that the artist makes the music, not the equipment that is used to reproduce it. For this reason, our goal was to make a fully transparent, almost ‘invisible’ audio component. This was our quest through the years of R&D that led us to a new hybrid amplification technology called ADH (Analog Digital Hydrid). This technology achieves unprecedented sound quality, for the pure, unadulterated enjoyment of music.
This exceptional level of performance is achieved thanks to an entirely new electronic design based upon:
- - An internal digital transport ensuring no signal degradation
- - Only two inches between the DAC and the loudspeaker terminals
- - A lossless current path between the DAC and the Class A amplifier
- - The extreme linearity of the unity-voltage Class A amplifier (current to voltage conversion in the core of the class A amp)
